“What is the Will of God?”
“What is the Will of God?”
“What is the Will of God?”
Many times we ask ourselves, “How do we know if we are doing the will of God?”
We try to be kind and patient,
We try to be loving and compassionate,
We try to be civil to all people,
We donate whatever we can to charities,
We go to church and join different activities,
We work hard and try to please our supervisors and coworkers.
We do many things to be seen as “good people,” but do they really help us see the will of God? How do we know if we are doing what God has had planned for us? We can only know what God has had planned for us by studying the Word of God and seeking His guidance and spirit.
Being the people that God wants us to be;
Loving and accepting everyone regardless of ethnicity, race, gender, different lifestyles and beliefs, religion, social class or anyone else who is different from us. In doing so, we will walk in God’s image and be guided by His love. This is the will of God.

Earthly Father vs. Heavenly Father
An earthly father is someone who-
… protects his family,
… provides for his family,
… takes his son to the ball game,
… will be there for his daughter’s ballet recital
…will be there for his child’s best moments such as awards, graduation, meeting his/her “first love,” and when their hearts get broken,
…will always be there no matter what his children are going through,
But most of all, a father is someone who would love his family unconditionally.
Our Heavenly Father is someone who-
…forgives our sins over and over again,
…gives peace in this “mad and broken” world,
…knows everything about us,
…someone who gives us hope when things go wrong,
…communicates with us through prayer and worship,
…reveals Himself to us through God’s Word,
…cares for all of His children,
…but most of all, He died for our sins, so that we may have eternal life with Him in heaven.

*Please note:
Both Earthly father and Heavenly Father are very important in someone’s life; however, we, sometimes, forget about our Heavenly Father since He is not with us physically. This is just a reminder that if an earthly father can love his family unconditionally, how much more our Heavenly Father who created us all?
